They continue through the tunnels and reach the opening of a large chamber. It's filled with the dead creatures.
And among them are large ant eggs.
P. MEDFORD: This is it, the queen's chamber. The eggs.
Patricia shines a light on the eggs, something inside.
The silhouette of the ant larvae can be seen, they appear to be alive.
Elsewhere in the chamber, they come across two large egg shells, bigger than the others, they are ripped open.
P. MEDFORD: This is what I was afraid of.
GRAHAM: What's the matter, Pat
P. MEDFORD: They're empty.
PETERSON: Well, whatever came out of them, is dead now right?
P. MEDFORD: No, not the ones that hatched from these.
Patricia takes snapshots with her camera.
P. MEDFORD: Now destroy everything in here, burn it.
GRAHAM: What?
P. MEDFORD: I said burn it! Burn everything!
Graham and Peterson step back and send out a waves of flames frying the eggs, everything in the chamber.
