Suddenly, KABOOM! Batty's head shatters through the checkered wall tiles. His head sticking through the hole looks like a stuffed trophy animal bust. Deckard stares with disbelief.
BATTY: You better get it up . . . or I'm gonna have to kill ya! Unless you're alive, you can't play. And if you don't play . . .
Batty is seen stuggling like his head is stuck in the wall. Deckard siezes the opportunity by prying a pipe off the wall to use as a weapon.
Batty smiles and surprisingly slips his head from out the hole in the wall with eaze.
Batty enters the restroom chanting . . .
BATTY: SIX . . SEVEN . . . Go to hell, go to heaven!
Deckard swings the pipe with all his might, it wallops Batty on the side of his head knocking him back momentarily.
Deckard strikes him again, but Batty instantly grabs the pipe in a manner as if he was toying with Deckard.
BATTY: That's the spirit!!!
Deckard gives up on that strategy and takes off running. He bursts the door open, runs through a utility room and kicks a window open shattering the glass.
He climbs out quickly and finds himself on the exterior building's ledge.
EXT. WINDOW LEDGE: Seeing the long drop to the ground startles him so much he loses his balance and grasps for a pivoting flag pole, he's clinging on it as it swings.
Deckard regains his footing and starts working his way on the building ledge. Batty starts up with howling again, this startles Deckard and his foot slips, but he recovers.
Batty takes off running and kicks a window open with eaze, Deckard is just a few feet away. Batty casually rests himself on the window ledge.
BATTY: That hurt! That was irrational.
Deckard starts climbing up, oddly he just smiles at Batty.
BATTY: Not to mention, un-sportsman like.
Batty laughs watching Deckard continue his climb.
BATTY: Where are you going?
Deckards makes it to the roof ledge and grabs on to it, his feet are dangling in the air. Batty laughs again, and then heads off from the window ledge back to the building interior. Thunder from the rain storm is making it's presence.
EXT ROOF: Wind and rain. Deckard's hand comes reaching over the roof's ledge, he made it!
He pulls himself onto the roof and just lays there in relief.
